Department of Psychiatry, Government Medical College Datia, organized a Marathon “Run 4 मन” on 10 October 2021 World Mental Health Day, started from new OPD block District Hospital premise to Medical College, Datia campus, which was formally inaugurated by hounrable Dean & CEO Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Gaur & actively participated by all senior faculty members, resident doctors, MBBS students, nursing staff, paramedical and other supporting staff. After completion of marathon “Run 4 मन” winners were facilitated with medals and certificates. Winners of Mankatha-2021 also received their prizes.
Hounrable Dean Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Gaur, Superintendent Dr. Arjun singh, Chief organizer of “Run 4 Man” & HOD Psychiatry Dr. Kapil Dev Arya, HOD Obstetrics and Gynaecology Dr. Shweta Yadav, HOD Community medicine Dr. Pradeep Sukla, HOD Paediatrics Dr. Rajesh Gupta & Civil surgeon Dr. K. C. Rathore addressed the runners with their valuable thoughts. Programme management was done by team “Run 4 मन” under guidance of Dr. Kapil Dev Arya including Dr. Prashant harit, Dr. Kamal kachawa, Dr. Gyanendra Raghuvanshi, Rachna Sharma, Vinod Yadav and MBBS students Vedant Patidar and Mohini Vyas. Vote of thanks was given by assistant professor Psychiatry Dr. Amrita Chauhan with announcement of Mental Health Activist Mascot design competition.
